Rajasthan, or ‘Land of the Kings’, is India’s largest state by area. It is in the north-west side of the country, comprising of the Thar Desert.
Apart from Rhinos and tigers the park is home to fishing cat, and leopard cat. Small mammals include the rarehispid hare, Indian gray mongoose, small Indian mongooses, large Indian civet, small Indian civets, Bengal fox, golden jackal, sloth bear, Chinese pangolin, Indian pangolins, hog badger, Chinese ferret badgers, and particoloured flying squirrel. Among 14 type of Indian primates the park is home to Assamese macaque, capped and golden langur, as well as the only ape found in India, the hoolock gibbon and many more.
The valley is situated at a height of 3,500 m and is covered with snow from october to march. Located at the base of Fateh Parvat, this lush valley, covered in Alpine forests, is rich in fauna and a paradise for bird watchers and nature lovers. The valley falls under Govind Pashu Vihar Wildlife Sanctuary, and is rich in wildlife.
The trek starts from Lohajung. According to legends, this is the place were Goddess Durga had fought with the infamous Lohasur, hence the name. The trail boasts of rich flora and fauna. Forests of fir, cedar, oak and conifers. Scarlet rhododendron covers the lower part of the trail. But as one climbs further, the pink rhododendrons take over. In exploratory trips the participants will visit different areas of Sunderbans that includes Sunderbans Tiger reserve, Divisional forests and parts of Sunderbans National park which are allowed to visit as per Forest Department norms. Burir Dabri, Kumirmari, Sudhanyakhali,Netidhopani,Dobanki, Bonnie and Kalas camp will be explored during the journey.

There are two ways you can participate in this program.
1) Book your tickets without the facility of point pick-up and drop, in which case the cost is INR 1500 per head.
2) Book your tickets with the facility of point pick-up and drop, in which case the cost is INR 1700 per head.
Pick-up and drop will be provided on fixed routes as shown below in AC SUV cars. While booking your ticket online, you will have the choice to select your pick-up/drop route and mention your pick-up/drop bus stop.
For people who would like to drop in themselves, will have to reach and assemble at New Babughat Jetty (Beside Eden Garden Railway Station) by 5 PM Sharp. The participants are supposed to check-in by showing their booking tickets. The Cruise leave sharp at 6 PM. Any person/group who is not able to make it in time, cannot be accommodated. Their money will be forfeited and NO refunds given.
