Day 1

Bagdogra/NJP – Darjeeling 93 kms / 3 hours approx
Assistance at the airport/railway station on arrival and drive to Darjeeling. DARJEELING: Standing high in the Himalayas at an altitude of 2134m, “Dorje Ling”, or place of the Thunderbolt, offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountain peaks, with the Kanchendzonga rising higher than all the others. Often referred to as the Queen of the Hills, it remains just as alluring with its tiny waterfalls, little villages and a narrow gauge railway track. Surrounded by World Famous Tea Gardens and snow capped mountains, Darjeeling remains one of the most exotic destinations. Graeme Westlake in his book An introduction to hill stations on India refers to Darjeeling as having A view Scarcely Unrivalled on Earth. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2

Darjeeling
Early morning visit Tiger Hill to see a beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Range like Kanchandzonga, Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turn golden. It is truly a majestic sight and Ghoom Monastery which is oldest Monastery in the area which was built in 1875 and one can see the image of Mythey Buddha 15ft. height on the way back from Tiger Hill. Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for city tour visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute(closed on Thursday) which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mt. Everest, Zoological Park(closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Centre(closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock and Happy Valley Tea Estate(from outside).Overnight at hotel.

Day 3
Darjeeling
Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for excursion to Mirik Lake. Mirik Lake: It is newly started hill station in West Bengal and situated 48 kms west of Darjeeling near Nepal border with a facility of boating at Mirik lake which is 1.25 kms long, it is a semi-artificial lake. Drive from Darjeeling to Mirik is via natural forest & tea garden. The main tourist area, Krishna-Nagar, is south of the lake. A 10 minute walk takes you to Bokar Gompa, home to Mahayana monks. One can catch the sunrise and sunset from Rameetay Dara. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4

Darjeeling to Bagdogra/NJP
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Bagdogra/NJP in time for flight/train to onward destination.

Day 1

Pick-up at Bagdogra Airport / NJP railway station – Gangtok (5,500 ft), (128 kms / 5hrs).
 Meet & Greet on arrival at Bagdogra Airport /NJP railway station & transfer to Gangtok.
 Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2

After heavy breakfast start a tour to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft, 34km). Lake is 1 km long, oval in shape and 50 ft deep. Here you can find snowfall & Yak Riding. Visit to legendary Baba Mandir & Nathula pass depends upon permit availability on additional cost of Rs. 3,000/- per vehicle for permit (Monday and Tuesday pass is closed). Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 3

Morning go for half day sightseeing covering Ropeway, Do-DrulChorten, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Sunday Closed) & Flower Show (Orchid). Drive towards Darjeeling (7,200 ft, 115 km). Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 4

Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak) (subject to clear weather), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasay Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view) and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs). Evening free for shopping and personal activities. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 5

Drop to Bagdogra Airport / NJP railway station according to the schedule. Tour Ends.

Day 1

Reach NJP by morning and proceed to Srikhola via Mirik. Reach Srikhola by afternoon. Night stay at Srikhola.

Day 2

After breakfast we start for Darjeeling. Reach darjeeling by noon, via Maney Bhanjang, Sukhia Pokhri and Ghoom. Evening at leisure to roam in the Mall Road.

Day 3

Day reserved for toy train joy ride. Evening in leisure for shopping and stroll at the mall. Night stay in Darjeeling.

Day 4

Get up early in the morning to visit the famous tiger hill for breathtaking views of sunrise atop Kanchenjungha and the Everest. Come back to hotel for breakfast and post that proceed for Darjeeling local sightseeing which includes Padmaja Naidu Zoo, HMI, Ghum monastery, Lebong Race course, Happy Valley etc. Night stay in Darjeeling.

Day 5

We leave for NJP after breakfast and reach the station to board your train towards Kolkata.

Day 1

Arrive  early morning at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or  Bagdogra Airport and take a scenic drive  towards Darjeeling.  Situated at an altitude of 7000 feet ,Darjeeling is often regarded as Hill queen due to its breathtaking beauty, tea gardens and Himalayan views. one can witness spectacular views of the Mount Everest, Mount Kanchendzonga and other Himalayan range if the weather is not overcast . Reach Darjeeling and check into a hotel for lunch.  In the evening take a stroll around Mall  and have dinner at an ethnic restaurant at Darjeeling Over night stay at a hotel in Darjeeling.

 

Day 2

Today prepare for whole day Darjeeling Sightseeing. Rise up early in the morning  around 4:00 am and drive to Tiger Hills to witness Sunrise. Later after breakfast visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, War Memorial Tenzing Rock, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Lebong Race course, Ropeway, Gorkha Stadium, Gorkha handicraft, Tibetans Refugee center, tea gardens and many more.

 

After lunch at restaurant witness Japanese Peace Pagoda, Natural History Museum, Ava Art Gallery, Lal Kothi, rock garden and Ganga Maiya Park.  In the evening return to hotel and take rest. Overnight stay at Darjeeling Hotel.

Day 3

Today take a day trip to Mirik Early morning after breakfast take  excursion to Mirik via Nepal border Mirik. Mirik is known for its Beautiful Tea Gardens, Samendu Lake, Orange Orchards, Cardamom Plantation and its pleasant Climate. En route  at Seemana halt for viewing Mount Kanchendzonga. One can take part in boating in the lake at own cost. Later visit Pashupati Market in Nepal. Later return to Darjeeling.  Overnight at Darjeeling at a Lodge

Day 4

Today after breakfast head for Kalimpong by car. En route visit Tinchuley and Tukdah forest. Enjoy  Kalimpong local sightseeing for the whole day.  Visit Delo Hill, Dr Graham’s Home, Mangal Dhham, Durpin Hill & Durpin Monastery, Cactus & Orchid nurseries, army golf course. In the evening check in at a  lodge at Kalimpong for stay.

Day 5

Today take trip to Lava & Lolegaon. Start early in the morning after and visit Lolegaon at first. Take lunch in midst of nature and witness the sublime beauty of nature and greenery at Lolegaon. After lunch proceed towards Lava. Reach Lava and check in at hotel. Enjoy in the evening at silence in natures hamlet.  Overnight stay at a home stay at Lava.

Day 6

Wake up early in the morning and takes short walks in the jungle. Return  to hotel for breakfast and after freshen up proceed towards NJP/Siliguri for onward journey. On the way visit Kolakham. Tour ends.

Darjeeling – Pelling 75 kms 3 hours approx. – Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Pelling. PELLING Located at a distance of 120 kms from Gangtok Pelling is another serene, mountain village which lies in the western districts of Sikkim. This village is situated at an altitude of 2000 mts(approx) and commands a spectacular view of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4

Pelling – Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for city tour visiting Pemayangste Monastery, Rabtense Ruins, Khechipalri Lake, Kanchenjunga Fall and Rambi Falls. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5

Pelling – Gangtok 127 kms 5 hours approx. – Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Gangtok. GANGTOK: At an altitude of 1750m, Gangtok became the state capital in the mid 19th century and has undergone rapid development since then. The downtown area is dominated by huge government buildings decorated with traditional Buddhist symbols. Gangtok is also a resting ground for people traveling to North Sikkim. Surrounded by Monasteries and Orchids, Gangtok is truly a travellers delight. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6

Gangtok – Breakfast at the hotel and full day excursion to Changu Lake which is 35 Kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snows off the surrounding mountains Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the color of the lake’s waters. Also visit Baba Mandir Overnight at hotel.

Day 7

Gangtok – Bagdogra/NJP 125 kms 4 hours approx. – Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Bagdogra/NJP in time for flight/train to onward destination.

Rules And Regulations

GroupOuting™ reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary depending on weather conditions or other factors outside our control. Amendments may be made to suit the accommodation availability without changing the total number of days in each destination. Even if there are any changes to the day to day activities planned, we would not compromise on any services.

The vehicle used may be AC or NAC based on availability and climate, and will be used for point to point transfer services only and is not at disposal. Clients are requested to follow the itinerary as general guidelines.

Payment Policy

You will receive a payment receipt on payment of the booking fee.

The undisputed refund amount, if applicable, will be refunded within 10 days of notifying GroupOuting™.

 

Cancellation Policy
  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, no cancellation fees will be applicable.
  • If cancellations are made within 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 20% of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 7-15 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-7 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.
