Nestled in the Nagaon and Golaghat districts of the north eastern state of Assam, Kaziranga National Park is one of the richest biodiversity hotspots of India. The evergreen forest holds India’s largest population of one horned Rhino and the highest density of tigers. This eastern Himalayan moist forest is also known for its bird population and is a dreamland for birders. The park was established as a reserve forest in the year 1905 and established as a tiger reserve from 2006.
GroupOuting™ operates photographic as well as Leisure trips to Kaziranga in between November to May months each year. For leisure trips guests are provided perfect hospitality at renowned Eco Lodges mostly close to rivers. Both elephant rides and Jeep safaris are provided inside the jungle to feel the essence of nature. Sightings of rhinos, herds of elephants, water buffaloes and various birds will leave a lasting memory.
GO photography expeditions are conducted with local guides who have years of experience on field as well as under a birding guide. The zones are selected as per sighting information available one night prior to the date of safari. Generally we avoid elephant rides to spend more time in jungle.
